ok-- i rarely update, but this is THE DAY TO CELEBRATE!!

for me, this is like.. watching marie suddenly speak french. which isn't possible- one, because animals certainly cannot talk llike human, and two, because there would be no explanation as to why she would speak french instead of korean or english, which she hears everyday.

On the other hand, me, getting a 5 on the calc AP exam is impossible because ONE i nearly failed, and certainly asian failed the class, and TWO- i've never been close to decent in math since CRANBROOK.

isn't that horrifying?! the bad thing is i can't go on like english websites if there is a french version of it..

it's really sad. i tried to go on english google, and hotmail.. but it kept on taking me to the french version and it's been upsetting me. but i finally got on hotmail and got to xanga!! yay..

paris is a tiny bit warmer than michigan.. and italy is going to be a LOT warmer. not like tropical warm but warmer..

soo my sister's taking classes at this college campus a litttle far from here... and i dont wanna go to another one of her classes cuz it's so boring.. ive already been to one of themmm som islam? palestinian relations class..if i could just understand french...

french guys are...veryy.. some are really cute (and amazigly well-dressed--yes some are even better than andy g. sydney!!) but ok the culture here is.. demented. if you look at a a guy and make eye contact with him, it means you are hitting on him. if he stares at you and you look back at him, then it means you are accepting his "hitting on you".. hahahahah weeeirddd. i think i've already hit on at least 12 guys so far.... ohhh man.

so we're leaving for italy on wednesday, and then returning the next tuesday, then we're going to west? i think france (near the border of germany) and we're staying there and coming back to paris the night before i leave for...kingswood  again.

there's so much to see here i hope my camera doesn't diee.. (orr yeaa? ok only syd would get that) but anyway i think i brought wayy too many skirts- i thought it would be warmer i think i was just being desperate. (like most michiganders).

i'm kinda hungry and patricia told me there is a nice bakery somewhere.. wanna get some yummy pastry.. but i'm scared i'll be taken away fro not being able to say anything.. well these are some things i CAN say:

(i don't know?)..merci, and my name is ___. and i can say "where is..?"--> "ou ehhhh?" but i dont' know any nouns i could attach to it so i guess it's really no use..heh all you french pplll.. are you amused enough?

pshh wait till i go to italy...  i'll be able to say so much more!!!! hay morros en la costa... heheheheh. diabloo!! anarchista!! umm yea. spanish and italian are very similar.. yet different.. there are tonss of different words.. but for ex: how much is it?

spanish= Cuanto cuesta?

italian= Cuanto costa?

just diff. conjugations...right?

i see this is gettig really long and i feel weird cuz everyone else here are..possibly... french. eeek!!

patricia and i walked to the eiffel tower yesterday. it's only 7~10 mins walking distance from where she lives. it's soo much smaller than i thought it'd be. and patricia says that she thought the same. it's tiny.

so it made me think.. we magnify beautiful things but also worldly things.. we think it's so big and great, but in reality, it's really not. the eiffel tower was still magnificant...SPARKLY..yes carlen... (the sparkly lights come on during 8-10pm they sparkle like crazzy. the normal lights don't)..but i must admit i was a little disappointed. i took pix! i'll post em laterr.

there are lots of dogs here. most of them have ridiculously short legs. if i'd kept a tally mark on the # of short/long legged dogs i've seen so far it would be about..9 short legged and 1 long legged.....very cute. there are also many many graffitis.. these ppl draw everyyywhere. it's cool though.. in metro stations, there's so much writing and drawings there's not a minute when i'm just spacing out.

speaking of SPACING OUT, carly- nuestro profesor de espanol me pica mucho..recientemente.. me molesta.. y cree que Sr estaba hablando sobre tuuu... pero..nooo... i mean come on, it was the last day before break.

things are pretty expensive in paris. the shops are outrageous.... there's GAP and it's pretty popular, (weird i know), but it's also more expensive than the U.S... but shhh they don't know.... the parisians.

i've done 5 math probs today during patricia's islam..?history class then fell asleep.. i at least did some work, right? i really couldn't do many probs cuz i had brought along my list of integrals.. like lnx and stuff...

yesterday we went to a jewish town.. wow amaazing food. i had a fallafle.. (spelling?) it's like a huuge wrap (pita sorta) with vegetables, and sauce, and chick peas in it.. sorta like hummus.. but not really. i got one with chicken so it got a bit expensive.. but since eating is my main activity here in europe... mwahahaha..i can't wait till dinner. we also got some dessert at a jewish bakery... a bahklava (spelling??) and.. an apple struttweorixzl thingi.

yummy. then we went to a coffee shop called "coffee and friends" and had some coffee with our dessert.. apparently jennifer aniston went there...hmm.

movies are only about 3.50 euros here which is aroundd 4 bucks in dollars, only this week for some reason so i think i'm going to watch a movie sometime..later.

i like this city cuz you can get anywhere on the metro. it's amazing. only if michigan had it.!! hahahaha. blah. whatever.

so we called mom today. she tells patricia "not to feed jennie too much" and to "buy her a pair of shoes" and to "make her study some vocabs for the SAT"... haha how ridiculous is that? i'll do that later. it's breakk!!

i think i'm going to try to get on aim exprss or something. but for now, i can only get to the french verision fo the website so it'll be sorta hard to find it....

that's enough.. i hope you guys are having a relaxing break at home! i envy you for being home if you are.. mmm home made food...

i think all i think of all the time is food..... but it's soo good and irresistable..
